Ze noemen zichzelf weliswaar Ampouailh (schurken) maar dat maakt hun muzikale prestaties niets minder oprecht en serieus. Deze vijf jonge muzikanten komen uit het hart van Bretagne en dat is ook het gebied waar ze hun repertoire én inspiratie uit halen. Daar zijn ze allen thuis in de wereld van traditionele zangers en spelers en die bagage hoor je terug in de muziek van Ampouailh.

Met hun dansbare muziek en sound dragen ze bij aan de muzikale dynamiek en kleur van Bretagne en ze zijn dan ook graag geziene gasten op de Bretonse dansfeesten waar ze hun zelf bedachte specialiteit, "trance traditionelle" tot plezier van de dansers, in praktijk brengen. Tijdens Trad.It! zullen ze uiteraard een lange dansset spelen.

This young group comes from the heartland of Brittany and that’s also where they get their inspiration and material. They’re all connected to the scene of traditional singers and musicians and that connection becomes clear and obvious in their music. With their very danceable music and sound they contribute to the musical diversity and dynamics of Brittany and that’s why they are welcome guests at the many traditional dance meetings where they play their self invented “trance traditionelle”, this to the dancers delight !
